摘要
等体积设计是PDC钻头布齿设计的基本原则之一,等体积设计原则下要求PDC钻头旋转一周每一颗切削齿所切削的岩石体积相等。目前发表的文章大多是对布齿设计原则作了详细说明,而在如何实现方面没有进一步探讨。在综合考虑了钻头冠部形状、切削齿的空间布置、切削齿的工作角、切削齿尺寸、切削齿的相互作用等因素的影响后,建立了对切削齿进行等体积布置设计的数学计算模型并选取适当的数值计算方法求解,为PDC钻头的计算机辅助设计和性能模拟分析提供了一种有效的方法,实例计算表明该模型和求解方法具有实用性。
Equal volume design is one of the basic methods adopted in the cutters' distribution design of PDC bits, which requires that the volume cut by each cutter should be equal while PDC bit rotates in a circular course. The present published articles describe mostly the design principle of cutters' distribution in detail, but do not further discuss how to realize the design. In this article, after synthetically considering such influencing factors as the bit crown's shape, cutters' space arrangement, cutters' work angle, the size of cutters, and cutters interaction, a mathematical model is founded and used to design cutters" equal volume distribution; and one appropriate numerical calculation method is selected to compute, which will provide a effective method for computer aided designing and performance simulating. The calculation example indicates the model and computational method are applicable.
