摘要
加速学校是美国学校整体改革的模式之一,起源于20世纪80年代,目的是使义务教育阶段处境困难的学生回归教育的主流.它奉行目标一致、赋权承责和发挥所长三个原则,实行参与式的管理制度,为所有的学生提供有效的学习体验.对它的研究可以为中国的类似教育现象提供一些有益启示.
Accelerated School Approach is a Comprehensive School Reform Patten in America designed to improve the school performance of students at risk of underachievement. Its' aim is to help those "students in the risk" to return the main stream when they finish the compulsory education by providing them powerful learning experiences. It involves several area's change, from the governing structure, the curriculum and instruction to the cooperation in and out of the school. The study of this pattern can help us to deal with our own problems.
