摘要
地方官是促进区域社会农业科技交流推广的必要中介。清代四川相当一部分外省籍地方官对辖区农业着力经营,不失时机地引进、推广新的作物品种,使农业技术更趋精细化,并推动农业科技改良组织的建立与农业科技著作的编撰、刊印和流布。四川一些农业科技也藉地方官之力传播到省外。地方官通过科技交流推广以发展农业文明的历史传统,当进一步总结发扬。
The local officials act as one of the necessary intermediaries to spur the exchanging popularization of local agricultural science and technology. During the Qing dynasty, a considerable part of Sichuan officials from other provinces make strenuous efforts to agriculture in the regions under their authority. They strengthen the construction of irrigation and water conservancy, and take chances to introduce and spread new varieties of crops, and make agricultural technology more intensive; meanwhile, they push forward establishing the organizations for improvement of agricultural science and technology and do writing, publishing and spreading works on agricultural science and technology. Some agricultural science and technology spread out of Sichuan to other provinces through some local officials. The historical tradition that local officials develop agriculture via the exchanging popularization of science and technology should be summed up and carried on further.
