摘要
双关作为修辞语格纳入语言学研究的视角可视为语言能指与所指，特别是能指自身分裂与重组的过程，音义的指涉功能通过语言变异得以表达。本文力图通过英汉两种语言双关使用的对比来探究其语言学理据，心理学理据及其美学理据，探求其修辞发生学原理。
Pun as a figure of speech in the linguistic view is considered as signifier and signified, especially the signifier itself, divided and reconstructed, and the referent of sound and sense expressed in the language variation. The treatise will search Pun＇ s development by linguistic, psychological and aesthetic motivation with the comparison of the use of pun in English and Chinese.
