摘要
磷在水体中含量较低,但在淡水生态系统中却是十分活跃的生源要素之一,其生物有效性往往是藻类水华的驱动力。本文对水环境中磷的生物有效性评估方法的发展现状进行了综述。目前发展了很多生物有效磷估算方法,但是没有完全认同的标准方法。从实验操作角度来看,藻类培养分析法最适于水样;化学提取法适于沉积物;而氧化铁材料等磷汇方法在水样及沉积物上均比较方便。事实上,生物有效磷概念含糊,是不可准确定量的。然而,为了更有效地评估磷的生物有效性,估算生物有效磷含量又是很有必要的。
This paper aims to present a review on the methods for e valuating the phosphorus bioavailability as a drive to the freshwater al, gal blooms, As is known, in the ordinary situations phosphorus con tent in water is very low, but it is one of the most active biogeneti, elements in the freshwater systems. Therefore, it has been an en deavor for the biochemical researehers to make in developing new methods to improve the situation. Besides, we know that pmper assessment of phosphorus bioavailability lies in determining the concentrations of phosphorus available to the alga or plants in water. Therefore, we think it is a real need to make a comprehensive review of the current trends and the actual methods for assessing the phosphorus bioavailability in aquatic environment in this paper. Among the many currently used methods, such as algal assay, chemical extraction, anion exchange resin, as well as iron oxide impregnated filter, there is none generally accepted. As to the experimental operations, algal assay is better suitable for water samples while chemical extraction is fit for sediment samples. As to such P-sink methods as anion exchange resin ball/membrane and the iron oxide impregnated filter paper/membrane, they are quite convenient for assessing the concentrations of bio-available phosphorus both in water and sediment samples. Recently, a novel composite membrane named iron oxide embedded acetate cellulose membrane (FeO/CAM) has been developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences for assessing the concentrations o bioavailable phosphorus in the aquatic environment. In fact, phosphorus species in water and sediments are very complicated thougll the concept of bioavailable phosphorus is vague. That is why it canno be properly quantified before the test species and their growth duratiol are not made clear. However, the biological incubation assay is usually time-consuming. Therefore, it can be concluded that it is necessary for us to assess the concentrations of bioavailable phosphorus with more convenient measurements so as to increase the efficiency of the bioavailability of phosphorus.
