对11种食肉质果鸟类的喜食性、食量、取食行为等笼养观察.鸟类通常是几种食物交叉进食.食果肉鸟类通常食果后20～30min开始排粪,食虫后需30～40min开始排粪;松鸦食肉质果常是(灰喜鹊有时是)啄食果肉后.种子丢弃而不入口;两类鸟同笼饲养时,食种子鸟拣食食果肉鸟粪中的种子,而食果肉鸟能吃被食种子鸟啄去了种子剩下的果肉;文中还讨论了食量计算的注意事项.
Food palatability. food amounts and foraging behavior of 11 species of cagingbirds fed on fleshy-fruits were observed. It needs 2o-30 min for pulp-feedingbirds to defecate when feeding on fruits, and it needs 30-40 min to defecatewhen they feed on insects. Garrulus glandarius often eat the pulp and give up theseed. When fed in same cage, seed-eating bird may forage in the feces excretedby pulp-eating birds. Pulp-eating bird may swallow the pulp bitten from theseed by the seed-eating birds. The count method of food amounts was also discussed.
