The structure and design of the mechanical locked spindle and bulbed rivet are introduced, and the difficulties and solutions of the heat treatment and machining are explained. The performances of the rivet made in China and America, which are up to standard are compared through 9 tests. The conclusion that the home-made rivets can substitute for the rivet imported is carried out.
