摘要
本文对有限状态信源提出了一种实用的算术编码.该方案吸收了 Ifuffman 码的优点,同时弥补了分组码的不足.对于小符号熵信源无须符号扩展即可达到较高的编码效率.此外该方案在实现上只需移位、相加两种运算,易于实现.
In this paper,a practical arithmetic coding scheme for finite state sources is established.The scheme has got rid of the shortcoming of block coding and is especially suitable for compression coding of small entropy sources.
