摘要
采用自蔓延高温合成法(SHS)以B_2O_3,TiO_2,Mg为原料,制备TiB_2陶瓷粉料。研究了B_2O3-TiO_2-Mg(摩尔为1:1:5)合成系统在加热过程中的物理化学变化规律和TiB_2粉末的显微结构特征。结果表明:加热过程中合成系统有预反应,它是由于少量B_2O_3还原造成的;掺加稀释剂对合成材料的显微结构有较大的影响并进而影响MgO的化学清洗。微观分析表明:与元素合成的TiB_2相比,SHS还原合成的TiB_2具有颗粒细小,分布均匀,无团聚的特点。
Self-propagating high-temperature synthesis(SHS) with reduction process was used to fabricate TiB_2 powder from B_2O_3-TiO_2-Mg system. The physico-chemical change during heating and microstructure of TiB_2 sample were studied. Results show that there is pre-reaction in this synthesis system, which is caused by reduction reaction of B_2O_3. Addition of diluent has a great effect on microstructure of synthesized materials which influences the chemical elimination of MgO. Microstructure analyses show that TiB_2 fabricated by SHS with reduction process is more fine in particle, uniform in distribution and free of agglomerates.
