摘要
提出发展我国造纸工业的关键问题是如何协调发展速度、资源与污染控制和效益之间的关系,如何解决资源缺乏和污染严重的问题。指出发展生态造纸工业是发展我国造纸工业的根本出路。介绍了生态工业的概念,并就发展我国生态造纸工业提出了建议。
It is pointed out in the paper that the key to developing China＇s paper industry lies in the coordination between speed of development, resources, pollution control and benefit and in the solution of resource shortage and severe pollution. It is pointed out that eco-industry is the way out for China＇s paper industry. The concept of eco-industry is introduced and the proposals for China to develop paper eco-industry are put forward.

刘焕彬，华南理工大学教授，俄罗斯工程院外籍院士，俄罗斯圣彼得堡工程院外籍院士。兼任国务院学位委员会学科评议组成员、广东省政协常委、广东省科协副主席、中国造纸学会副理事长、广东省造纸学会理事长、广东风险投资促进会副理事长。1995年5月至2005年9月任华南理工大学校长。刘焕彬教授主要从事制浆造纸工程、过程数学模型和计算机模拟、生态工业等方向的教学与科研工作和高校管理工作。他重视学科交叉和技术集成，重视研究成果产业化，先后主持或承扭了20多项国家和省邪级科研项目。发表论文160多篇，著作5本，专利12项，获国家级奖励5项和省部级奖励5项。2004年荣获俄罗斯国家工程学突出贡献伊万，古列宾勋章。
