The paper, by the studies in the changes and varieties of the picturesque exhibited at different times and places, analyzes in detail the evolvement of the English picturesque gardens in the 18^th Century Europe, which will lead us to exactly focus on the practice of landscape theorist and practitioner, span the barrier of time and space, and understand correctly the English picturesque gardens in the 18^th Century Europe.
