摘要
从90年代初开始在全世界范围内形成了对虚拟环境(VE)的研究热潮,,在实时图形绘制算法、开发工具、分布式VE、实验性系统等诸多方面取得了令人瞩目的研究成果。VE技术除在空间技术、远程操纵、娱乐等获成功外,应用己扩展到建筑设计、虚拟制造、可视化、医学和教育等领域。本文对智能虚拟环境这一新的交叉课题进行综述,并对其中的关键技术问题进行了讨论。介绍了智能虚拟环境的建模方法。
Intelligent virtual environment （IVE） is the integration of virtual reality end artificial intelligence/artificial life. The study of IVE has attracts great interest recent years. In this paper, we present an overview of the research and development of IVE, and discuss in detail on key techniques. The modeling ways of 1VE is also introduced in the paper.
