摘要
工业用电熔莫来石原料中含有钾、钠等杂质,而化学法制备的高纯莫来石中这些杂质含量低,因而以氧化错增韧这两种莫来石制备陶瓷,发现其力学性能随温度的变化趋势有较大差异。后者随温度升高力学性能反而有所增长。研究发现这一变化与原料中杂质含量有关。本实验以电熔莫来石为原料并以氧化铈作添加剂制备ZTM陶瓷,其室温韧性达5.7MPam[1/2],比不含添加剂的试样提高34%。本文研究了这种添加剂对陶瓷性能的影响,并探讨了氧化铈对ZTM陶瓷改性的作用机制。
There are alkali-metal impurities, such as K ̄+ and Na ̄+, in electrically fused mullite used in industry but there are few of these impurities in high purity mullite prepared by chemical method. Therefore, high-temperature properites of two zirconia-toughened mullite ceramics (ZTM ceramics) prepared by two different methods were diverse largly.The mechanical properties of the latter were increased with temperature. In the present paper, ZTM ceramics were prepared by using the electrically-fused mullite as a raw material and CeO_2 as an additive .The influence of the additive on the properties of the ceramics was studies and the function of CeO_2 on the improving of the properties of ZTM ceramics was discussed.
