Effects of Mud Additives on Particle Size Distribution of Clay

摘要 利用SALD-1100激光粒度仅,测试了不同钻井液添加剂溶液中膨润土和地层土的粒度分布。试验表明,FCLS对膨润土和地层土都有明显的分散作用,属分散型稀释剂;80A_(51)和HPAM对膨润土和地层上具有絮凝作用,HPAM对膨润土的稳定作用优于80A_(51);HEC比HV-CMC更适于作不分散钻井液体系的增粘剂;MV-CMC、HPAN和SMP通过细分散作用,增加小粒子含量而起到降滤失的作用。 The particle size distribution of bentonite and formation soil exposed to various additives were measured with SALD-1100 Laser diffraction particle size analyzer. It is shown that the additive FCIS exerts noticeable dispersing effect on bentonite and formation soil, which can be termed as dispersive mud thinner; the additives 80A51 and HPAM have flocculating effect on the above clays, the latter having better stability effect on clay than the former; HEC is a better viscosifier than HV-CMC in non-dispersive mud system; MVCMC, HPAN and SMP all can increase fine particle contents by fine dispersive action, thus reducing filtration loss.
