摘要
高等教育规模的扩展与城市化进程的发展是一个互动的过程.高等教育规模的扩展将潜在地提高人口素质,加速农村人口转移,推进城市化进程,并为城市化的可持续性提供智力支持;城市化发展为高等教育规模的扩展提供基本的物质保障,并通过产业结构升级的引导加速高等教育规模的扩展.本文根据我国1978～2002年有关高等教育规模与城市化方面的指标,实证分析了上述的互动关系,并初步建立了高等教育规模与城市化之间的互动模型.
It is a coordinating development process between scale ot higher education and urbanization, The scale of higher education can enhance people＇ s qualifications, accelerate the transfer of rural population, advance the course of urbanization and provide intellective sustainment for persistence of urbanization; urbanization ensure basal matter to expand scale of higher education and accelerate this course by upgrading the frame of industry, This paper analyses the above-mentioned relation and constitutes a mutual model according to the index of scale of higher education and urbanization.
