摘要
帘式涂布是一种非接触式涂布方法,对下落的涂料膜(落帘)在冲击到移动的纸幅之前有具体的要求,高的冲击速度需要相应较高的纸幅移动速度;对纸幅不产生机械压力,因此就大大减少了断纸率,并且能形成较好的涂层,从而可降低涂布量,提高生产能力。这种涂布系统非常简单,并且具有易操作、生产效率高等优点。但是在操作过程中也容易产生一些问题,比如:不规则踵部的形成,空气夹带的产生,落帘的不稳定性。这些问题可以通过调整落帘涂布参数使其达到最优来避免。本文对落帘涂布的原理进行了重点阐述,并讨论涂布缺点产生的机理、落帘涂布的优点及其在应用中的要求和注意事项。
Curtain coating is a non-contact coating method which has specific requirements to the falling coating film (falling curtain) before it impinging the moving paper web to be coated. High impinging velocity allows relatively high web speeds, This non-contact coating method does not put mechanical stresses onto the paper web to be coated, thus minimizing web breaks and providing good coating coverage, which raise output and reduces coating weight. This coating system is simple and easy to operate and has a high production efficiency. However, the curtain coating process is susceptible to operational defects, such as irregular heel formation, air-entrainment and curtain instabilities. These problems can be avoided by optimizing curtain operating parameters. This paper expounds the principles of curtain coating, discusses the mechanism for coating defects, describes its advantages and points out the requirements and matters in the application.
