摘要功能翻译理论将翻译视为一项须考虑读者和客户要求的全新的目的性交际活动,它的核心就是“功能”。将功能翻译理论的相关知识(翻译的具体要求、源语文本分析及文本功能等)应用到翻译过程、译者研究上来,既可以利用功能翻译理论指导译者,使读者在翻译过程中不再局限于原文,又能够关注“功能”的作用,可以通过译者的有意识的行为发展功能翻译理论,使其不断地获得新的活力。 Functionalist approaches to translation treat the activity of translation as a totally new intentional communicative action that concerning the request of readers and clients, whose kernel is the functionalism. If the relevant knowledge of functionalist approaches to translation, such as translation brief, source-text analysis, text-functions and so on, is applied to the course of translation and the research to the translators, some benefits could be achieved： The translators will be limited to the source-texts, but pay close attention to the “ function” under the direction of functionalist approaches to translation; functionalist approaches to translation could be developed and get new vitality constantly by the translators＇ intentional translation actions.
