摘要
英语语法中,同源宾语结构和与其形式雷同的非同源宾语结构的区分一直是一个有争议的问题。本文提出了同源宾语结构的一些新的认知特征:宾语对主语的归属性、宾语对谓语的依赖性、宾语地位的显著性及宾语的抽象性。这些特征可用来核查一些句式是否属于同源宾语结构。
The distinction between cognate object construction and non-cognate object construction has been a controversial topic in English grammar. This paper holds that the former is characterize by subordination, dependency, prominence and abstraction, and that all these cognitive features can be used to distinguish cognate object construction from non-cognate object construction.
