摘要
BT(Bit Torrent)是目前网络下载应用最广泛的软件之一,他可以有效地减轻服务器负荷,大大提高资源的下载速度,对下载数百兆乃至数G的大文件效果尤其明显。但也有许多电脑爱好者认为用他下载网络资源会对硬盘造成很大损伤,认为BT会造成计算机硬盘磁头的巨大磨损并产生很高的温升,降低硬盘的使用寿命。在对BT软件基本原理和硬盘工作原理认真研究之后,就会发现这种认识其实是非常不恰当的,硬盘受损的诸多原因都只在于用户使用计算机的操作不当和恶劣环境,与软件和软件的使用可以说是毫无关系的。
Bit Torrent （BT） is one of the most widely used software for Internet downloading at present. It can effectively reduce the load of the server,greatly increase the downloading speed of the resources,and be most effective in downloading large documents varying from hundreds of Ms to several Gs. However there are computer users who believe the use of BT will do great damages to hard disk by the severe wearing of the disk head and the consequent rising of temperature ,which will sharply shorten the service life of computer. After a careful study on the basic principles of BT and the hard disk＇s working principles,we will find that this view is not accurate. Many causes to the damage of hard disk are centered around the misoperations and adverse circumstances, which is completely irrelarent to both the software and the use of the software.
