A Logit Model of Housing Tenure Choice Among the Elderly in Australia

摘要基于1999年澳大利亚住房调查数据,采用logit模型,分析研究一些经济或非经济因素对澳大利亚老人住房消费选择的影响。Logit模型的经验结果表明,部分被测试因素的表现与生命周期假设或先前的经验研究一致,而另一些因素则有着比较有趣且特别的表现。 Based on Australian Housing Survey（AHS） in 1999 ,the logit model is employed to investigate how some economic or non- economic factors impact on the housing decision of the elderly in Australia. The empirical results indicate some performantes of the tested variables are consistent with the life cycle hypothesis or the previous studies, while some present the interesting and special features.
