摘要
为了改善传统GSM(globalsystemformobilecommunication)系统的性能,将基于正交频分复用的单频网技术应用到GSM系统中,提出了一种单频蜂窝网结构.在下行链路中,相邻三个基站以宏分集的方式构成单频蜂窝,向移动台广播下行数据;在上行链路中,采用选择性分集的接收方式,由接收条件最好的基站接收上行数据.仿真结果表明,这种新型网络结构减少了移动过程中的切换次数,降低了呼叫阻塞概率和掉话概率,提高了系统容量.
A novel structure of single frequency cellular network (SFCN) was proposed to improve the performance of traditional GSM (global system for mobile communication) by applying the technique of OFDM-based single frequency network to GSM. In the downlink, adjacent three base stations worked as a macro-diversity to form a single frequency cell and broadcast downlink data to mobile stations. In the uplink, selective diversity was used to select the base station in the best receiving condition to receive uplink data. Simulation results showed that in the proposed system, handoff requests in the process of mobility were decreased, that both call blocking probability and call dropping probability were reduced, while system capacity was increased.
