摘要
文中详细描述了砂岩单轴受压蠕变试验中纵横向变形发展规律，并结合有关岩石松驰实验中横向变形发展规律，对横向变形独立发展现象进行了研究，指出岩石内部裂纹的发展是横向变形独立发展的原因。
In this paper,the indepent development of lateral strain under uniaxial compression creep tests to grit sandstone and fine-grained sandstone is qualitatively descripted and quantitatively analysed. Based on crack initiation and propagation in specimen rocks,the mechanism of this phenomenon is analysed and the author believes that under the given stress the uninterrupted propagation of cracks in specimen rocks is the reason of independent development of lateral strain.
