摘要
旨在阐述材料科学的前沿课题——寻找与合成新材料所产生的技术革命及其重大科学意义。重点在于揭示材料科学与宇宙化学等相关学科交叉形成新的学科方向的必然性。特别通过对C_(60)发现过程的回顾,阐明宇宙化学对材料科学的巨大推动作用,以及在寻找新材料中的广阔前景和深远意义。最后论述我们所应采取的对策。
Discovering new materials is the frontier of materials science, from which many scientific progresses and technological revolutions were resulted. This article reveals a new way to approach this goal of discovering, designing and synthesizing new materials from clues of cosmochemistry. Cosmochemistry deals with materials formed under extreme physical-chemical conditions so it can provide some new sights for materials scientists. An example is the discovery of C60 that was originated from cosmochemical interests. Authors conclude that confluence of materials science and cosmochemistry is a natural one, and new breakthroughs in materials science may be behind it.
