摘要
主要研究了高岭土颗粒形貌对堇青石蜂窝陶瓷热胀性能的影响。结果表明:用片状高岭土制备的堇青石蜂窝陶瓷的热胀系数为1.20×10-6℃-1,而用非片状高岭土制备的堇青石蜂窝陶瓷的热胀系数则是1.7×10-6℃-1(RT~800℃)。XRD分析表明:片状高岭土可造成堇青石结晶晶粒的定向排列,而非片状高岭土则不能使堇青石晶粒定向排列。
Effects of the shapes of kaolin particles on the thermal expansion properties of cordierite honeycomb ceramics were studied. The results showed that the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of the sample A prepared from platelet kaolin particles was 1.2×10^(-6)℃^(-1),while the CTE of the sample B from non-platelet kaolin particles was 1.7×10^(-6)℃^(-1)(RT~800℃). XRD analysis results revealed that platelet kaolin particles resulted in the preferred orientation of cordierite crystals. However, the non-platelet particles didn't cause preferred orientation.
