摘要
大学乃大师之学,无大师则无大学。一所大学得以生存的灵魂是其学术环境及其教师队伍建设。大学的教师队伍在大学里发挥着核心的作用,如何选拔教师、激励教师是一个非常重要的问题。北京大学的教师人事制度改革方案是其朝世界一流研究型大学迈进的有力举措。对此从改革的必要性以及终身教职的授予上进行了探讨。
University is a school of masters. Without masters a university cannot exist. The soul of a university is its academia and its faculty construction. Therefore, how to choose and inspire teachers is an essential issue. The teaching personnel system reform conducted in Beijing University is a great move towards the world first-class and researching university. This paper probes into the necessity of reforming and the granting of life-long teaching staff.
