Treating Free Surfaces or Flow Field in Numerical Method

摘要 本文针对水流计算中不规则边界和自由表面问题,从流日两相流理论出发,推导得出具有不规则边界时的紊流控制方程,引入通度概念处理不规则计算边界;采用MAC方法的思路,直接从物质输运方程出发,推得流体体积输运方程,用VOF法追踪随时间起伏的自由表面。利用所建立的数学模型计算了实用重力坝及其下游库式消力池中水流流场,并对一个收缩式消力池中三维水跃进行数值模拟。计算结果较好地与实验结果符合。 To solve the problems of irregular boundaries and free surfaces in predicting three dimensional anisotropic turbulent flow,a modified K-B turbulence model is derived, and the governing equations of turbulent flow over irregular boundary are developed by analyzing the scud-liquid two-phase theoretical flow model. And furthermore a partial-cell Parameter is introduced to treat irregular boundary, which allows curved boundaries and internal obstacles or islands. To track free surfaces, a simple but powerful method is described that is based on the concept of a fractional volume of fluid (VOF). This method is shown to be efficient to track complicated free surfaces. Two examples of which one is the flow over spillway and its down stream bucked type energy dissipation flow and another is a three dimensional hydraulic jump in converging stilling basin have been simulated and compared with experimental results. It shows that the program established has a wide range of application. It can simulate almost all kinds of turbulent flow with free surfaces in hydraulic engineering.
