摘要
ＥＤＩ是以计算机和通信网络为基础发展起来的现代信息处理和信息通信技术。本文综述了国外ＥＤＩ发展和应用概况，分析了ＥＤＩ应用系统的总体结构，并对ＥＤＩ系统的关键技术（如ＥＤＩ系统功能模块，ＥＤＩ通信网络，ＥＤＩ标准等）作了较为深入的分析。本文着重论述了在我国铁路运营管理信息系统（ＯＩＳ）中应用ＥＤＩ的基本需求和重要性以及铁路ＯＩＳ应用ＥＤＩ的有利条件，并提出了在铁路ＯＩＳ中实施ＥＤＩ的构想。
EDI is a modern information processing and communicating technology based on computer and communication network.This paper describes the development and application of EDI in foreign countries,analyzes the structure of EDl application system,and investigates several key points of EDl system such as EDI function models,EDl communication network and EDl standards. The basic requirements,the importance and the advantages of applying EDl to China Railway Operating Management Information System are discussed with empha sis and a conception on the application of EDl to the railway system is put forward.
