摘要
评价宋代城市经济,不能囿于城市本身,也不能单纯强调生产的意义,必须打破城乡对立、重生产轻消费的二元思维模式,从城市经济与乡村经济的互动关系中着眼,从生产与消费互相促进的内在联系入手。宋代城市经济的繁荣,促进了农村商品经济发展,在带动周边地区经济,安置农村剩余劳动力等方面也发挥了积极的作用。
The evaluation of the city economy in the Song Dynasty should not confine itself to the city proper or only to the significance of production. There should be a breakthrough in the dual thinking model that the city is in opposition to the countryside and production is more importance than consumption. This study should focus on the interaction between the city economy and the rural economy and the internal connection between production and consumption for mutual benefit. The economic functions of the city in the Song Dynasty find expression in the following: more market space was offered for commodity production, which helped the development of the commodity economy in the countryside; the influence of the city quickened the development of its neighboring areas; more employment opportunities were offered to the surplus work force in the countryside.
