The planned block on the south bank ofJiaojiang River should be the center of the water-front area of Jiaojiang region and is a city-level land-scape point.The area should be planned as the areafor landscape,leisure and residential purpose sup-ported by commercial and office function.Use shouldbe made of the existing facilities to maintain theoriginal urban texture so as to give prominence tothe urban structure of'mountains,sea,rivers andcity'of Taizhou.In the recruitment of plans,the planoffered by Shenzhen has been selected for its ac-curate definition,romantic individuality and peculiaroriginality.
