摘要
《麦田里的守望者》是美国战后初期风靡全球的小说,其象征手法的运用对烘托主题、刻画人物起到了举足轻重的作用。就小说中出现的部分场景象征、事物象征作了尝试性分析。
The Catcher in the Rye swept the whole world in the early postwar period. The application of symbolism plays a decisive role in the presentation of theme and characters. The symbolic meanings of some scenes and objects in the novel are analyzed.
