摘要
本文用两种纹影显示方法对平面斜向自由剪切层的流动特性进行了实验研究，揭示了其中的流动结构尤其是螺旋涡的一些变化规律和特征，并对实验方法进行了完善和改进。
An experimental study was performed for the flow characteristics of a plane free cross mixing layers by flow visualization. Observations for the develop-ment of the coherent structures in a Air/CO_2 mixing layers were made by two kinds of spark shadowgraph methods(one was a new shadowgraph method). Analyses and explorations were conducted for some aspects of the characteristics, formation and development of the helical structure in the mixing layers. In addition,this paper also analyzed the effects of velocity ratio and angle between the cross streams on the for-mation and development of the helical structures.
