摘要
本刊曾于 1999年第 4、5期发表征稿启事 ,希望广大作者充分发挥世界史学科的社会功能 ,为解释和回答当代人类普遍关注的重大现实问题提供历史依据和借鉴 ,写出学科特点鲜明 ,时代感强烈的高质量论文。迄今 ,我们的倡议已得到比较热烈的反响 ,也陆续收到了一些好的稿件。谨此向支持我们工作的作者们表示诚挚的感谢 ,并希望踊跃来稿。近年来 ,随着台湾分裂势力的抬头 ,台湾问题日益成为我们非常关注的焦点问题。而台湾问题又一直同日台关系密切相关。本刊本期发表的武寅研究员的《日本对外战略与台湾问题》一文 ,从历史的角度 ,比较深入地剖析了台湾问题在日本对外战略中的地位。作者认为 ,日本对台政策是日本对外战略全局中的一个组成部分 ,日美关系的重要性并不能排除在特定条件下日本与美国在台湾问题上采取不同行动的可能性 ;日中关系的好坏并不影响日本对台政策的实质 ,只是影响它外在的表现形式。这些观点 。
Japanese policy towards Taiwan is one part of its foreign strategy.For a long time,Japan has focused its foreign strategy on Asia,especially Japan's peripheral areas which are rich in natural resources,a potential large market and of strategic importance.Before the Second World War in the so\|called “Line of Interest”,“Line of life” and “The Great East Asian Co\|prosperity Sphere” put forward by Japanese ruling group,Taiwan was always an important part.After the Second World War Taiwan's strategic position became more important.The importance of Japanese\|American relation does not rule out the possibility that under certain circumstances Japan does something different from what the U.S.A.will do;the normality and abnormality of Japanese\|Chinese relation does not have impact on the nature of Japanese policy towards Taiwan,but only on its forms.
