摘要
该文指出西方妇女学的勃兴、亚洲学热与妇女学区域化本土化中女学者倡导等外、内因素是亚洲妇女学兴起的原因;又以一次亚洲(8个国家和地区)妇女学国际会议上宣读的论文为例,分析亚洲妇女学的特点———由于亚洲各国妇女生活的背景即妇女学产生的语境在共性中存在着差异,无论是在传统的父权制时代还是在现代化和全球化的今天,妇女生存环境的不同导致对妇女议题的关注点不同,妇女学的发展过程运作策略也存在差异;但是在实现知识和思维认知方式的变革、实现性别平等和向世界发出亚洲妇女的声音以及妇女学者主动推进这项事业则是共同的。
