近20年,带有服务员休假机制的排队模型受到普遍关注。
In this paper, we discuss the GI/M/1 queue with exhaustive service and multiple va-cations in detail, where the vacation time is assumed to be a Phase type variable. Weexpress the transition matrix of the imbedded Markov chain as a block-Jacobi form andobtain a matrix-geometric solution. The probability distribution of the queue length atarrival epochs is derived and is shown to be a sum of two independent random variables,where the distribution of the additional number of customers in the system is a discretePH-distribution.
