摘要
重返“新时期文学”是中国当代文学研究中既具有历史意义又不乏现实意义的挑战性命题。它关涉到一代人的自我理解与自我反思 ,也关涉到我们在今天的文化政治语境中对文学的理解和认知。身为“新时期文学”的亲历者 ,并不意味着我们对这一概念有着更多的了解。相反 ,我们最熟悉的东西其实常常是陌生的。本文选择断裂论、话语与权力、文学制度三个角度对“新时期文学”进行重新解读 ,探讨重返“新时期文学”的意义和可能性。
Returning to the “Literature of the New Period” is a challenging and significant topic in the studies of contemporary Chinese literature. Its importance lies not only in its historical dimension which will engage a whole generation in a self-apprehension and self-reflection, but also in its present purposes which will engage us in a deeper understanding of the present cultural and political contexts. Personal experience of the “Literature of the New Period” does not necessarily means a better understanding of it. On the contrary, what seems to be familiar is exactly strange to us. It is in this vein that the paper discusses the meaning and possibilities of returning to the “Literature of the New Period,” trying to reinterpret it from the perspectives of disjuncture, discourse/power, and literary institution.
