摘要
在五四新文化运动中,胡适是作为儒家传统的批判者而闻名于世的。然而人们常常忽略的事实是:胡适在早年与新儒学的接触中所得到的那些思想和见解对他的一生都是有着挥之不去的影响的。该文并不拟全面讨论胡适与新儒学的关系,只试图从胡适的自传这一新的角度出发揭示新儒学对胡适的影响以及胡适对此的态度。
In the New Cultural Movement, HU Shih is famous as a critic against the tradition of Confucianism. However, a fact which has always been ignored is that some inspiration and methodology of Neo-Confucianism which he accepted in his early education has a deep influence upon his whole life. The paper does not mean to discuss the relationship between HU Shih and Neo-Confucianism thoroughly, but sets out from the autobiographical approach to analyze the influence of Neo-Confucianism upon HU Shih and his attitude towards such influence.
