摘要
21世纪是高等院校与社会紧密结合，更加注重人才素质教育，重视学生创新能力培养，注意人才个性发展，特别是重视人才综合素质全面提高的世纪，同时又是在时间和空间与进一步拓展，呈现终身化教育和国际化教育趋势的世纪。高校图书馆要在知识管理和传递中及时地反映出时代的要求，通过组织创新、服务体制和服务模式创新，以提高学生的知识创新能力、文化品位和知识素养，使学生的综合素质得到全面发展。
During the 21st century higher learning should be linked with society closely.They should pay more attention to the quality education,cultivation of the innovational abilities and individual development of students,and improve the students'all-rounded qualities.Libraries should meet the requirements of the era in the management and transmission of information.It is necessary to innovate the organization,service systems and service forms in order to improve the students' innovation ability in knowledge,culture,and other multi-qualities.
