摘要
建国以来 ,我国教育目的对于要把受教育者培养成什么 ,其最终定位的几种典型表述是 ,培养成“劳动者”、“人才”、“建设者和接班人”以及“公民”等。这些提法应该说都各有其时代性、针对性因而也有其合理性 ,但又都不够确切 ,内涵不够丰富 ,外延不够完整 ,不能充分表达教育总目的的本质和追求。本文认为 ,作为涵盖各级各类教育宗旨的教育总目的 ,定位于培养“人”更合理 ,因为这更能体现教育目的的终极性、普适性和丰富性。
Ever since the establishment of the PRC a few typical educational ends in our country as into what should the educated be trained have been expressed as follows: “labourer', “qualified personnel', “constructor and successor', and citizen', etc. It is justified to argue that each of these expressions is time-natured and in accordance, which makes it rational to some extent. However, all of these expressions are not appropriate enough, not rich enough in their content, and not comprehensive enough in their extension. Therefore, they can't fully express the nature of pursuit of the general educational end. It is argued in this paper that, as general education end that covers the aims of all levels and kinds of education, it is more rational to orientate it to cultivating “man”, because such an orientation reflects more of the ultimateness, universal relevance,and richness of educational end.
