摘要
该文认为图书情报学教育应向高层次发展;研究生教育涉及人才培养和学科建设两个重要方面,其中最关键的是学科建设;图书情报学研究生教育应该整合为一级学科即图书馆、情报与档案管理。该文还介绍南开大学图书馆学系研究生教育的发展,总结该系在学科建设和图书情报档案教育等方面的成就与经验,并以此文纪念该系成立20周年。
The authors hold that the LIS education should be promted to high level, the graduate education should involve two important aspects:talent cultivation and disciplines construction, and the LIS graduate education should be integrated into the first level of
the discipline-library, information and archive management. This article also describes the development of the graduate education
at the Library Science Department of Nankai University and reviews the achievements and experience of the department in graduate education to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Department.
