摘要
流媒体技术解决了以音频、视频信息为代表的多媒体信息在中低带宽网上的传输问题,在教育领域有着广阔的应用前景。本文简要介绍了WindowsMedia技术及其特点,对利用WindowsMedia技术在基于Internet的远程教育系统中实现西部远程教育作了分析。
Streaming Media Technology solves the problem that multimedia information transport in the Internet with middle-low band width,which takes the Audio Frequency information and Video Frequency information as its representative.And the technology has a wide application foreground in the field of education.The technology of Windows Media and its characteristics are introduced briefly in this paper,and the function of Windows Media Technology in Distance Education in the west of China based on the Internet has also been analyzed.
