摘要
地理信息系统是一门新的技术学科,国家教育部在1998年公布的新本科专业目录中,把地理信息系统纳入了本科专业计划。许多高校地理系都开设了地理信息系统本科专业,那么如何做好地理信息系统专业的硬件基础设施——地理信息系统实验室的建设,该文作者根据所在工作单位地理信息系统实验室组建过程中的实践,就其本身的建设过程及对所遇的问题作了一些探讨。
Geographic information system(GIS) has become a new technological subject. According to the catalog for new majors for bachelor degree issued by Ministry of Education in 1998, GIS has been included in the major plan for bachelor degree. Regarding to how to build up good hardware infrastructures-laboratories for GIS, according to the working experience in this aspect this article, probed into the problem during the construction of laboratories for GIS.
