摘要
Guangxi, located in the border area of Southeast China, has been selected to permanently hold the China-ASEAN Exposition, thus becoming the first special place to undertake the exchange of regional trade, investment and the cooperation of eoconomy and technology after China’s entrance into the WTO. The choice is intentional and contains strategic forsight.Therefore Guangxi should make full use of this historical opportunity to expand its volume and scale of export so as to make greater contribution to the accomplishment of great leap forward in its development. Having analyzed the impact of the annual meeting of the exposition on Guangxi’s import and export, the paper finally gives relevant countermeasures and suggestions.
