摘要
从出版生态学的视角审视晚清民初的翻译小说刊行现象,会深入揭示社会、媒介、文学等因素之间的互动关系。"翻译小说热"的兴起,既和"小说界革命"相表里,也和洋务运动、维新变法、民主革命等历史进程相伴。翻译小说承载的政治历史使命也推动了小说进入文学的中心,并对中国现代文学发展和世界文学视野形成产生深远影响。传播媒质和印刷技术的改良以及报刊运作稿酬制度助推了翻译小说的发展。除对中国文学世界的改观,翻译小说对当时出版生态的影响主要体现在主题的选择和艺术形式的取舍等方面。
From the perspective of ecology, researching the print and publish of foreign Fiction on Ming and Qing Dynasty, it can reveal the interaction between society, media and literature deeply. When the foreign novels translated, there was a relationship between the heat rise of translated fiction and Novel Revolution, along with Westernization Movement and other political activities occurred in China. It improved the status of Chinese fiction, influenced the development of modern Chinese literature and exerted a profound influence on the formation of the world literature. Modern media and printing technology, and the remuneration system promoted the development of translation of the foreign novel. The translation of foreign novels, also inspired pay attention to choose the theme and form of fiction.
