作为一名成功的商人以及IT行业的先锋人物,史蒂夫.乔布斯对这个世界的影响力很大,尤其是对年轻人来说。他在斯坦福大学以《求知若饥,虚心若愚》为题的演讲成为了许多人的座右铭,反映出了美国人的核心价值观。通过此演讲分析美国人的核心价值观的内容,并且从美国人的宗教信仰、历史和地理条件等方面解析美国人核心价值观的形成。
Steve Jobs,as a successful businessman and a pioneer in information technology,has great impact on the world,especially the young people.His speech at Stanford,with the title of Stay Hungry,Stay Foolish,which has become many people’s motto,reflects Americans’core values.The paper aims at analyzing the content of core American values from the well-known speech and discussing their formation in three aspects including America’s religion,history and geographical condition.
