摘要
世界银行是以美国为首的少数发达国家对世界多数不发达国家实施"经济专政"的工具。世界银行推出的新自由主义与"华盛顿共识"不仅重创了拉美、苏东,还重创近乎所有将该思想与政策奉为"神明"的国家,一些经济学家将这个时期描述为"迷失的年代"。当前世界形势风云变幻,新兴大国崛起正在改变国际格局,但是世界银行新自由主义的底色以及为西方尤其是美国服务的实质未变,它是西方国家"新殖民主义"的重要推手。
The World Bank is the tool of a handful of US-led developed countries to maintain their 'economic dictatorship' over the world's most underdeveloped countries. The neo-liberalism and the 'Washington Consensus' sold by the World Bank not only severely hit Latin America,Soviet Union and the Eastern Europe, but also severely hit nearly all of the countries that considered such thought and policy 'sacred'. Some economists call this period the 'lost decade'. The current world situation is volatile and the rise of emerging countries is changing international pattern, but the World Bank has not changed its nature of neo-liberalism or its purpose to serve the western world,especially the US, and it is an important promoter of western 'neo-colonialism'.
