摘要
当今语言学日益与其他学科相渗透、与高技术及认知工程相结合。我国近十余年语言学研究的成就主要表现在从单纯引进转向了实证研究,一大批有见解的论文和专著相继问世,其中不少研究成果刊载于国际杂志。今后应努力使汉语和外语两支队伍相结合,建立共用的语料库,鼓励采用高科技进行宏观的实证性研究,鼓励开展认知语言学和文化语言学的研究,加强对外交流。
After an overview of linguistics worldwide,the paper discusses major advances in China's linguistic research in the past decade. Mere introduction of Western theories is replaced by research papers. Fragmentary information is developing into comprehensive and systematic knowledge,as shown by the many treatises published on various subjecs. Papers from China have begun to appear in international journals and some Chinese scholars are now editors for such journals,a sign of maturity in China's research. Problems remain,however,such as inadequate funding,delayed access to new information,lack of analyses of local data,among others. Suggestions are put forward concerning governmental measures and academic efforts for a new height in linguistics.
