摘要
本文的内容分两部分,一是精神分析理论对心理学所作的贡献,一是对精神分析理论的批评。作者认为,虽然精神分析的理论在其兴起的初期对心理学作出了某些贡献,可是它的缺点也十分严重,很值得心理学工作者借鉴。现当我国正在开展心理卫生研究工作之际,作者不揣冒昧,对这种理论进行初步的评价,指出它的优缺点,以供同志们参考。
The paper falls into two parts:1)the contributions of Psycho-analysisto psychology,and 2)criticisms ofpsycho-analysis.The author holds thatwhile they made some contributions topsychology in the earlier period of thisschool,psychoanalytic theories havemany serious defects.By tentativelycommenting on the merits aud demerits of psychoanalytic theories,the authorwishes to contribute his bit to theresearch work on mental hygiene inChina.
