进入21世纪后,随着网络的普及,网恋现象成为网络时代的一种新生事物迅速蔓延,尤其是大学群体的网恋现象越来越引起人们的关注。社会学的理性选择理论认为人的行为是受"理性"支配的,行动者的行为原则就是为了最大限度地实现自己的利益,而这种利益不仅是物质上的,更可以是非物质上的。网恋的大学生是在判断网恋行为能最近似的实现自己的最大利益之后,作出了网恋行为这一选择的。
