摘要
实验以苯甲酸和正丁醇为原料,磺化硅胶为催化剂,催化合成苯甲酸正丁酯. 以单因素实验法分别考察了催化剂用量、原料配比和回流时间对反应的影响.最佳工艺条件为:催化剂用量为苯甲酸质量的1.64%,n(苯甲酸)∶n(正丁醇)=1∶2.0,回流时间为3.5 h,苯甲酸正丁酯的酯化率为98.60%.
Silica sulfuric acid was used as the catalyst for the synthesis of n-butyl benzoate from benzoic acid and butanol.Effects of catalyst dosage,molar ratios of the reactants and reaction time were investigated by using single-factor experimental method.The optimum conditions was found as follows: 1.64%catalyst based on benzoic acid,molar ratio of benzoic acid to n-butyl alcohol 1:2.0,and reaction time was 3.5 h.Under the optimum conditions,the esterification of n-butyl benzoate was about 98.6%.
