摘要
老舍在他的小说创作中,对中西两种文化进行了辩证的认识。在现代化的进程中,面对传统文化的丧失,他怀着复杂的心情,惋惜、无奈、但更多的是站在世界先进文化的高度,对传统文化负面因素的批判;另一方面,他也批判了西方文明中金钱、物欲对人的心灵的腐蚀。老舍小说中的文化批判远远大于文化认同,从而使老舍小说文化批判力量远远大于其他作家。
Lao She understood Chinese and Western culture dialectically in his novel creation. In the process of modernization,Lao She,with mixing fee lings,felt pity and had no choice but to face the loss of the traditional cultu re. But standing at the height of the advanced culture of the world,he concentr ated even more efforts on criticizing negative factors of the traditional cultur e. On the other hand,he also criticized that money and material desire corrupts the souls of people in western culture. In Lao She's novels,the culture crit icism is far more than the culture approval. So the strength of culture criticis m in Lao She's novels is much more than in other writers'.
